Q&A

I was born in the heart of Silicon valley to a family of immigrants. Growing up, I watched in awe as technology transformed the world around me and embodied the spirit of the American Dream for my family and many others. My father, an engineer, and my mother, a teacher, instilled in me an immense passion for technology and hunger for knowledge. The Valley has always been a place of immense hustle and innovation; each day, I’m infinitely grateful to be a part of the ecosystem — finding, partnering, and improving the odds for founders who want to make history.

I began competitively debating at the age of 13 and continued to nationally compete throughout high school and college. In Parliamentary debate, the topic at hand changes every round; through my 8 years as a debater, I studied thousands of topics, broadened my perspective and competed alongside my brilliant teammates. To me, investing feels like the grown up version of debate — each day, I’m excited to study businesses and industries, imagine a better future, and partner with best-in-class founders.
