Danny Michell

With over a decade of experience building top engineering brands from early stages to global scale, Danny Michell leads Engineering recruiting on the Talent team. Having brought in some of the most influential engineers during pivotal growth moments, Danny continues to showcase his passion for candidate experience, connecting great people and developing hiring strategies and processes that help strong leaders land top engineering talent.

Danny led teams early at Uber and Zipline and has also experienced Google scale. He joined Uber in 2014 where he helped grow many engineering functions from the ground up. He then joined Zipline in 2020 and executed alongside the foundational engineering teams across autonomy, hardware, infrastructure, web, systems and electrical engineering.

Outside of work, Danny enjoys spending time with family and, at any chance he can, getting out on the golf course. Hawaii is a favorite vacation place to visit and he has a deep appreciation for travel.
